Giuseppe (Joe) DiMassimo
Joe DiMassimo is an accomplished business development professional with 30 years of experience, providing uncompromising support and delivering proven solutions to help institutional clients succeed.
Mr. DiMassimo was a senior executive at Montrusco Bolton Investments, prior to which he held several senior sales and servicing positions at some of Canada’s leading asset managers. Mr. DiMassimo has recently retired from the investment management industry.
Mr. DiMassimo earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from Concordia University, and later earned an MBA from Sherbrooke University, and has over 10 years experience as a board member.
Bill Durham
Mr. Durham is the President and founder of Birnam Wood Capital, LLC, an SEC registered investment advisory firm based in Dallas, Texas, predominately focused on alternative income investments in the private credit markets, value add real estate and energy. Prior to founding Birnam Wood Capital, Mr. Durham was a Vice President at an alternatives-focused investment advisory firm, where he worked for 7 years.
Mr. Durham is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
David Lally
Mr. Lally spent more than 35 years growing PCB Group, a technology development and sensor manufacturing company. During his tenure with the company, he held the positions of Design Engineer, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, VP of Engineering and, ultimately, President, where he was responsible for providing overall strategic direction. After a successful sale of the business, Mr. Lally pivoted from entrepreneur to Chief Executive Officer of Monkey Toes, LLC, his family office. He carries a strong belief in continuing education, strength of an investment policy and surrounding himself with the right people. He continues to share his business acumen by actively serving as a board member for multiple companies.
Mr. Lally holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University.
Kyle Makofka
As President and CEO of Ardenton Capital, Mr. Makofka leads the development and implementation of the Corporation’s overall corporate strategy. He oversees the Corporation’s portfolio and operations and is involved in all aspects of the organization’s activities. Prior to joining the Corporation in 2021, Mr. Makofka founded Kingsman Scientific Management, a group with experience and expertise in industries ranging from traditional industrial, energy, health sciences, technology, and real estate, which contributes a combination of professional multi-level support and capital for companies to achieve their full potential. Kyle has more than 25 years of management experience and has had the privilege of leading organizations across the spectrum—from founding and operating private ventures to steering public companies, supporting family offices, and restructuring private equity firms. These roles are not limited to but include as Founder of Quantum Petrophysics, Founder/President of Victory Rig Equipment, Partner in Drive Capital Corp, President/CEO of Midstream, Managing Partner in Red Flame Industries, Founder of Victory Energy Rentals and General Manager of High Arctic Energy Services.
Robert Maroney
Mr. Maroney is a Trustee and Investment Manager for high net-worth families. He served on the Investment Committee of the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund for six years. Mr. Maroney has extensive experience in restructuring, with Canyon Ranch being the best known. As a partner in a buyout firm, he served on various boards and has experience with buying and selling operating companies. As President of a division of an NYSE company, he restored two money-losing businesses to profitability, and before that served as the Director of Corporate Planning. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate of Cornell University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He was a member of YPO, and presently its graduate organization, Chief Executives Organization (CEO).
Julie St-Germain
Julie St-Germain is Vice President, Client Servicing at Montrusco Bolton Investments. Ms. St-Germain joined the firm in 2017 as Corporate Controller. She has progressed within the firm to Director of Finance – Alternative Investments to Vice President, Compliance and Governance with the added responsibility of Chief Risk Officer that began January 1, 2022. Montrusco Bolton is an investment firm registered with the Authorité des Marchés Financiers (Québec) and the SEC (U.S.A.). The firm provides a wide range of investments, including public equities and private investments.
Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Ms. St-Germain worked in audit and progressed in finance and accounting roles in industry, focusing on financial reporting, auditing and process improvement.
Ms. St-Germain is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has successfully completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course (PDO) and Canadian Securities Course (CSC®). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Accountancy and a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy from Concordia University.
Jed Wood
Jed M. Wood is currently the Director or Managing Director for numerous private companies including Wood Capital Ltd., a private equity company that specializes in corporate restructuring and venture capital.
Mr. Wood entered the energy industry in 1979 and worked his way through the ranks to the level of new technology manager for a major energy producer in Canada. This is where he developed and pioneered the technology of horizontal drilling and the technology which is commonly used for Hz multi-stage fracking today.
Mr. Wood is accomplished in the engineering field. He founded High Arctic Energy Services LLP in 1993 and grew it into a publicly traded international specialized oilfield drilling and service company. He acted as the company’s President and CEO until 2009. Since 2010, Mr. Wood has financed and provided operating support to numerous US and Canadian companies.
Mr. Wood has served as a board member, lead director and chair for numerous publicly traded companies.
